Ensuring Barrier-free equitable inclusive quality education for the students with different abilities and empowering their families
Chakshumathi is a global think tank in the sphere of Inclusive Education, Accessibility, Inclusive STEM and Eyes Free Science. We in collaboration with Global Tech Giants, Academicians and Research labs, created a no-cost Digitally Accessible Pedagogy to break the learning barriers of the Children with Learning Differences who can’t cope up with the conventional print-based pedagogy.
Children with Learning Differences as the ones with Sensory Challenges (Blindness, Low Vision and other visual challenges, Deaf and Hearing Hard, Speech challenges) and Neurodivergence (Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, ID and the physically challenged group from Cerebral Palsy, Cognitive Differences, and other neurological differences) can't hold a book or a pen.
They can easily mitigate their learning challenges of print-based pedagogy with Digitally Accessible Pedagogy and Accessible e-contents. All it needs is a Chromebook, laptop or a simple Android Smart Phone and a family that believe them.
Chakshumathi operates as a collective of 100s of volunteers and parents of the Children with Different Abilities around the world. Chakshumathi also provides inclusive education training services to faculties of schools and universities.
