Introducing assistive technologies at an early age lays the foundation for independence, confidence, and career success for children with learning differences, including visual impairments and print challenges. Early exposure to these tools enhances competency, provides a competitive edge, and empowers children to excel in education and society. In today’s digital world, independent accessibility fosters dignity and improves employability. The Early Birds & Mummy Birds program is designed to help children with special needs and their parents learn together, ensuring a collaborative and supportive learning experience.
Two Success Stories of Early Birds
Aswin Saravanan – Now a 12th-grade student, Aswin’s early start in technology has shaped his academic journey and future prospects. He dreams of becoming an environmental scientist and having proficiency in Japanese aiming at going for higher education in Japan.
Amaan Ahamed – At just six years old, Amaan earned the title “Wonder Boy Amaan Ahamed” after setting a world record by reciting 200 digits of Pi and demonstrating exceptional talent in digital technologies. At Chakshumathi, we believe that early learning leads to lifelong success, and through this program, we are equipping young minds with the skills to thrive in an inclusive digital world.
